On Tuesday we were lucky enough to have a visit from Jean Ward, the Deputy Circuit Clerk for Jo Daviess County. She told us all about her duties in the courthouse and then treated us to a discussion of her passion as a self published author.

Jean brought along a copy of her first book “Little Evergreen” and told us her journey from a basic idea to the final product, a beautifully illustrated book. She even treated us to a reading and then gave a a short preview of her next book. Very inspiring.
