Orchard Landing Flies In For A Visit
30 AugToday we had a presentation from Karen Greiner of Orchard Landing. She told us all about how, along with her husband, the idea for a local orchard came to be.
Started in 2015, with 400 trees, they have “grown” their business, located on Beatty Hollow Road near Hanover, to include 15 varieties of apples. They also offer honey, maple syrup, jellies, pumpkins and apple cider donuts. Whether you drive or fly in (yes they have their own landing strip) it’s a must for a Fall excursion.
Members Share Memories About The Galena Territory

Club members Joanne and Mike Muzzey, who served on the Galena Territory 50th Anniversary Committee, shared a presentation on how the GTA was formed along with historic photos. Afterwards, we each had an opportunity to share our personal stories and connections to Galena and the Territory.
We have a great mix of lifelong residents and members who have moved here from other areas. Come and join us on Tuesdays at Noon at Prarie Ridge.

Many have commented that this year’s fireworks display was the best ever! What a way to show how our club supports our community! Thanks to all who participated and donated to this project.
