The Galena Kiwanis Club Annual Grant will be awarded to organizations that support the mission of the Kiwanis of serving children and enhancing the quality of life in the Galena community. Depending on the number of applications the total amount of $5,000 could be awarded in smaller amounts to several recipients.

The grant will be awarded to organizations that support the children of the Galena community.
Application Guidelines:
Please fill out the Galena Kiwanis Club Grant Application Form below. Along with the application form, on a separate sheet of paper, provide a one -page description of the project/program that the grant money would help fund. Include the following:
1. A brief description of the project/program. Use a one-page description and include with the application form. Keep in mind the mission of Kiwanis is serving the children and improving the quality of life in the Galena area.
2. Project/program expenditures. How the money will be spent?
If there are several parts to the project/program, provide an itemized budget.
3. Describe who the project/program will affect and how many people the project/program will impact.
4. Explain the goal or outcome anticipated from the project/program.

Applications will be accepted starting on Dec. 1, 2025, through April 1, 2026. Grant recipients will be announced on June 1, 2026.

Grant Recipient Follow-up Report Requirement:
Kiwanis Club of Galena requires grant recipients to submit a follow-up report to the committee by Nov. 30, 2026. A Grant Follow-Up Report form will be sent to grant recipients with their acceptance letters. This form is also available to download from the Kiwanis website; kiwanisclubofgalena.com
